Now you can turn someone’s memories into a treasured keepsake for years to come. Read on to find out more about this exciting new jewellery collection.
One of the biggest appeals of personalised jewellery is the sentiment behind it. The thought and care put into the careful hand stamping or engraving of your designs is what makes them so special. I’ve often wondered though… is there more that we can do? Well now the answer is yes!
A little backstory first…
My Pop was an amazing gentleman – impressively intelligent, always so kind and softly spoken. I remember him being a strong tower who always had patience with the cyclone that I was as a child. He taught me to play Happy Birthday on the organ, showed me magic tricks, read his favourite poems to me and allowed me to sit with him while he listened to his radios and did his cryptic crosswords. He sadly passed away when I was just 14. I was absolutely devastated. Even now at 38, it still brings tears to my eyes thinking of how much I miss him.
For my 15th birthday, I received his favourite Robbie Burns Poem book from my Nana with a handwritten message saying she knew Pop would be pleased for me to have it. It had been given to my Pop by his parents and while I never really understood the poems, it was something so special to my Pop so I cherished it. That book has stayed with me for over 20years through everything life has thrown at me.
Then in 2009 my Nana died suddenly. Again, I couldn’t believe the devastation I felt. In the last few years I had grown close to her and finally felt like I understood the woman she was… and then she was gone. I really do miss her every day. The book then took on a whole new meaning with the special message she had written in the inside cover.
Fast forward to now, my engravers recently offered the Inscription Service and I knew I just had to have my message inscribed onto a piece of jewellery. I scanned the inside page, sent it off and let them know which snippet I wanted engraved onto my jewellery.
When I received my new pendant, I cried and cried. Not because I was sad, but because it was such a beautiful piece with my Nana’s actual handwriting on it. I now carry her not only in my heart, but next to it every day. I just wish I had my Pop’s handwriting too.
I want to share this new service with you, my valued customers. I want you to feel the emotions I have, and now have the means to forever immortalise your loved ones handwriting or pictures.
